Hi! I’m Evelyn, and I run this blog. In 1999, I met my husband Alf in a classroom that neither of us belonged in, and grabbed his attention by nearly falling over a table. He didn’t come to my rescue but we did exchange numbers eventually. We now have two kids and our lives are the better for it. That’s the short version of our story!

If you were redirected here from my previous blog address, I hope you’ll still find something of interest! I’ve saved some of my old crafting posts as screen captures, and you can download them here:

If you’re coming in from Quora, you’ll find the Topsy Turvy puzzle here.

I’m moving away from enrichment class reviews on this blog, but I would still highly recommend the coding school Tink Tank, and you can read my 2016 review of their workshop here.

If you’d like to get in touch with me, please do so at thebottomsupblog@gmail.com. I’ve made the long-overdue decision to segregate the personal from the parenting–if you’d like to read my non-parenting blog as well, all you have to do is ask. :)
